He was predeceased by: his parents, Cedric McWhorter and Genevieve Blincoe McWhorter; and his sister JoAnn "Jody" Tiffany. He is survived by: his wife Deanie McWhorter of Lafayette; his children, Dennis McWhorter of Lafayette, Lisi Coleman (Bryan) of Lake Charles, Margaret DeStout (Paul) of Lake Charles and Maddie Miller (Lucas) of Eunice; and his sisters-in-law, Sherry Hoffman of Lafayette and Diane Brunet of Lafayette. He is also survived by eleven granddaughters and six grandsons; six great grandsons and one great granddaughter; as well as extended family and friends.
