He was predeceased by: his sons, Philip Lavergne and Chadrick Lavergne; his parents, Houston Lavergne and Edise Lavergne; and his brother Carroll Lavergne.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lavergne; his daughter Tonya Lavergne; his siblings, Leland Lavergne (Mary), Hilton Lavergne (Arlean), Farrel Lavergne (Becky) and Beatrice Lestage; and his granddaughters, Lauren Girouard (Thorn), Morgan Lavergne and Jordan Lavergne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His wishes were to donate his body to science.
