She was predeceased by: her daughter Rochelle Leger; her granddaughter Frances Claire Brown; her parents, Robert Russell and Margaret Mullaney Russell; and her brothers, Michael Russell and Patrick Russell.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel Jonas Stagg, Jr; her daughters, Marie Leger, Lisa Leger Brown (Paul) and Elizabeth Leger Cuevas; her stepchildren, Jody Stagg (Julie), Susan Stagg Simon (Louis), Stephen Stagg (Gena), David Stagg (Mona) and Nancy Stagg Fontenot (Paul); her sister Mary Russell O'Neill (Mark); her husband Cancun; and her grandmother Claus. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Acadiana or St. Edmund's Catholic School.
