He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis J. Hornsby and Norma Sloane; his in-laws, Elie and Irene Hulin; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Delcambre (Irvin) and Alvin Hulin; and his godson Maxwell Mullins.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara H. Hornsby; his sister Sharon H. LeDoux (Dickie); his siblings-in-law, Betty Hulin Serrette (Clemens), Harold, T. K. Hulin (Colleen) and Larry; and his niece Adrienne LeDoux. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
