He is survived by: his wife Glenda Doucet Richard; his children, Jeff Richard (Alicia) and Michelle Newsom (Bryan); his grandchildren, Joshua Richard, Laura LeBlanc (Bryce), Ashley Ardoin (Jack) and Wesley Newsom; and his great grandchildren, Evella, Matthew, Leo, Noah LeBlanc, Hudson and Baby.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (1011 Sittig St, Eunice, LA 70535). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the St. Thomas More Cemetery (1011 Sittig St, Eunice, LA 70535).
