Dawn Lavergne Blanchard Obituary

EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dawn Lavergne Blanchard announces her passing on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at her home at the age of 45. A Graveside. Memorial Service will be held at 9:00 AM on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice with Father Sam Fontana officiating.

Dawn was born on June 08, 1978, to Wayne "Pop" Lavergne, who preceded her in death, and her mother, Johnette Lavergne of Eunice. She is also survived by her siblings, Barbara Mack of Eunice and Mike Lavergne of Swords; niece and nephew, Allison Lavergne of San Francisco, CA and Brody Mack of Eunice; uncles and aunts, Terrel "Murph" Lavergne and wife, Keri of Swords, Dale Lavergne and wife, Geraldine of Swords, Donvan "Donnie" Lavergne of Lafayette, Kent Lavergne and wife, Brenda of Swords, Ricky Lavergne and wife, Mary of Swords, Brenda Mistrot and husband, Pierre of 3 Mile Lake, and Charlotte Chapman and husband, Terry of Swords; her little dog, Sissy; as well as extended family and friends.

Along with her father, Dawn is also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William and Thelma Clavier Lavergne; and maternal grandparents, Harmon Jackson and Barbara Moncrief Orren.
