He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Stephens and Mary Jane LeBouef Stephens; his sister Janell; his brother-in-law Larry Miller; and his in-laws, Nelson and Fran McManus.
He is survived by: his wife Monica A. Stephens of Eunice; his children, Jacob Stephens of New Iberia, Natalie S. Leger (Kelly) and Michael Stephens (Shainee) of Eunice; his siblings, Charlene Darbonne (Bobby) of Iota, Bryon Stephens (Sara) of Youngsville and Connie Gardner (Mike) of Iota; and his grandchildren, Sophie Vidrine, Ross Leger, Harland Stephens, Clara Leger, Roan Leger and Cal Leger. He is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
