He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Bertrand and Zoide Carrier Bertrand; and his siblings, Cliff Bertrand, Charles Bertrand, Jimmy Bertrand, Anna Marie Hebert and Eva Mae Bertrand.
He is survived by: his daughters, Richell Bertrand and Donna Bertrand (Angel); his grandchildren, Tray David and Lindsey David; his great grandchildren, Chase Carter Guillory, Benson Royce Guillory and Markeith Guillory; and his former wife Barbara Reed.
