She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn Allen Valdetero; her parents, Charles Hensgens and Leola Landry Hensgens; and her siblings, Charles Hensgens, Jr. and MaryGayle Hensgens Iverson.
She is survived by: her children, Shane Valdetero of Breaux Bridge, Erika Valdetero LaBauve (Phillip) of Lafayette, Amanda Valdetero Link (Ryan) of Scott and Craig Valdetero (Taylor) of Crowley; her siblings, Frank "Gene" Hensgens, Warren "Beason" Hensgens, Beverly Hensgens Dorr, Jacqueline Hensgens Lambousy, Dennis Hensgens, Gretchen Hensgens Harrelson and Christine Hensgens Vidrine; and her grandchildren, Mollie, David, Alexander, Amelia, Wyatt, Jacob, Isabel, Christian, Ingrid, Keagan and Glenn.
