He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexson Boone and Lorena Duplechain Boone; his son Chad Boone; and his brother Ralland Boone. He is survived by: his son Brandon Gawthorp of Hempstead, TX; his sisters, Patricia Bergeron (Clay) of Eunice, Diana Belfour (Leander) of Eunice and Myrtle Meaux of Texas; and his grandchildren, Ashton, Ava Gawthorp and Gabrielle Winters.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (1301 W Laurel Ave, Eunice, LA 70535). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Ashford Cemetery (1243 Ashford Cemetery Rd, Eunice, LA 70535).
