He was predeceased by : his parents, Quincy Davis and Larris Rider Davis; his brother John Q. Davis; and his godson Joel Davis. He is survived by : his children, Carl Davis Jr. (Labrishca Sonnier), Ben Davis (Shaunna), Jodie LeJeune (Mark) and Veronica Vige (Luke); and his grandchildren, Kaytlin Davis, Carley Davis, Benjamen Davis Jr., Lexi Davis, Cale Davis, Lindsey Davis, Wyatt LeJeune, Emma LeJeune, Haiden Vige, Laiken Vige, Kyndall Vige and Madison Vige. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

A rosary was held on Tuesday, July 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (2717 Dr Bobby Deshotel Ave, Basile, LA 70515). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 16th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
