She is survived by: her husband Mitchell Ashford, Sr.; her children, Mitchell Ashford, Jr. (Miranda), Shawn David Fontenot, Von Dale Ashford (Ashley), Brandon Ashford (Stevie), Daya Wells (Melissa) and Trish Ann Ashford (Chad Aucoin); and her sister Melinda Chatman. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
