She was predeceased by: her husband Jurnell Smith, Sr.; her parents, Ernest Cole and Lela Mae Boyd Cole; and her siblings, Foster, Lawrence, Robert, Clyde Cole, Lorena Cole, Kitty Poullard, Alice Lavan and Willie Bee Cole.
She is survived by: her sons, Jurnell Smith of Eunice, LA and Trenice Smith of Eunice, LA; her sister Clara Bell Cole James of Eunice, LA; and her grandchildren, Vincent Bradley of Hawaii, Trenice J. Smith of Colorado Springs, CO, Deidra J. Smith of Eunice, LA and Kendra D. Smith of North Carolina. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Golden Star Baptist Church (420 S Bulah St, Eunice, LA 70535). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
