He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Andrus and Addie Durio Andrus; his former wife Connie Cooper Andrus; his siblings, Julie Knight, Shelby Andrus, Gail Starnes and Kathleen Horvatic; his siblings-in-law, Jay Starnes, David Horner, Irma Andrus and Patsy Andrus; and his grandparents, Cliff, Melissa Andrus, Jerome and Josephine Durio.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Andrus; his sons, Cory Andrus (Missy) and Kyle Andrus; his stepchildren, Jeremy Frey (Amber), Brett Frey (Kate) and Maggie Frey Gaspard (Eric); his siblings, Betty Jo Foreman, Rebecca Horner, Charles Andrus, Ronald Andrus, Robert Andrus (Rhonda) and Thomas Andrus (Rachel); his siblings-in-law, Tommy Knight and Judy Andrus; his grandchildren, Victoria Andrus Ashford (Scott), Hunter Andrus, Caroline, Kathryn, Vivian Andrus, Sara, Jolie, Levi Frey, Douglas, Lizzy, Anna Jane Frey, Gracie, Jax and Millie-Kate Gaspard; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Leger (Karleen), Ricky Leger (Brenda), Danny Leger (Sharlene) and Cindy DeRouen (Rene). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (331 Park Ave, Eunice, LA 70535). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:15 PM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (1400 E Laurel Ave, Eunice, LA 70535).
