It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara A. Tate of Eunice, Louisiana, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthlus Tate and Lillian Fruge Tate; and her siblings, Joseph Tate, Margie Carrier and Rose Mary Carrier. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces/nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Quirk & Son Funeral Home - Eunice (121 S 6th St, Eunice, LA 70535). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (459 Perron Rd, Ville Platte, LA 70524).
