We bid farewell to Anthony Fontenot of Eunice, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 11, 2025 at the age of 68. Anthony touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Fontenot and Ruth Gauthreaux Fontenot; his daughter Amy Aline Fontenot; and his brother Charles Fontenot. He is survived by: his wife Donna Fontenot of Eunice; his children, Joel Deville of Sunset, Jonathan Guillory of Lafayette, Anthony Fontenot, Jr. (Monica) of Hallsville, Jody Fontenot (Natasha) of Youngsville, Kyle Fontenot (Kyla) of Denham Springs and Cherie Cowart (Rocky) of Eunice; his sisters, Barbara Cole of Deridder and Donna Fontenot of Estherwood; his grandchildren, Holden Gauthreaux, Brianna Fontenot, Alyssa Fontenot, McKenzie Jones, Adalie Horn, Lauren Fontenot, Gabriella Fontenot, Anthony Paul Fontenot, III and Faith Fontenot; and his great grandchildren, Paisley Gauthreaux, Camille Knott, Blayde Knott, Riley Gauthreaux, Jackson Gauthreaux and Everlee Gauthreaux.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (1301 W Laurel Ave, Eunice, LA 70535). A prayer was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (310 W Vine Ave, Eunice, LA 70535). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Cemetery (1101 Sittig St, Eunice, LA 70535).
