She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy J. Duplechin; her daughters, Jennifer "Tottie" Guidry and Larria Marcantel; her parents, Louis Vige and Helen Ardoin Vige; her brother Aaron; her son Fuselier (Louis Vige, Jr.); her sisters, Dorothy Lou Venezia, Delta Mae Powell and Flora Dean Daigle; her grandchildren, Shannon Roy Guidry and Baby Guidry; and her great grandchildren, Melaine Guidry and Bentley Guidry.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Duplechin, Jeffery Duplechin and Paula Leger (Kert); and her grandchildren, Kylie Duplechin, Beaux Duplechin, Shannon Roy Duplechin, Ashlie Nicole Leger, Joshua Kert Leger, John Albert Guidry, Jr., Daniel Shane Guidry, Steven Troy Guidry, Sherry Suzanne Eaves, Dusty Noel Marcantel and Bridgette Denae Marcantel. She is also survived by thirty-two great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Quirk & Son Funeral Home - Eunice (121 S 6th St, Eunice, LA 70535). A rosary was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Ashford Cemetery.
