With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Douget of Eunice, Louisiana, who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adeol Douget and Avelia Perron Douget; his wife Dorothy LaFleur Douget; his son Robert F. "Bob" Douget; and his brother Mervin Douget.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Garrett Douget (Jamie) of Holden, Tyler Douget (Courtney) of Carencro and Spencer Douget (Crystal) of Lake Charles; his daughter-in-law Marcia Hester Douget of Basile; and his great grandchildren, Luke Douget, Olivia Douget, Ella Douget, Penelope Douget, Maddox Douget, Megan Breithaupt, Kacey Breithaupt and Alexandra Douget.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (1210 S Ryan Ave, Basile, LA 70515). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel (1210 S Ryan Ave, Basile, LA 70515). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (1210 S Ryan Ave, Basile, LA 70515). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (2717 Dr Bobby Deshotel Ave, Basile, LA 70515).
