He was predeceased by: his parents, Promise Johnson and Rosalie Johnson of Church Point; his brothers, Leroy and Johnny Johnson; his son Willie Ray Huntley; his grandchildren, Rachel and Joshua Spencer; and his great grandchild Daniel Lee "Trey" III of Washington.
He is survived by: his former wife Ethel Brooks; his wife Ethel "Brooksie" Johnson; his children, Rodney Jerard Johnson (Charlene) of Lake Charles, Sharon Thomas of Orange, Kathleen (Daniel Sr.) of Lake Charles and Frances Spencer (Scott) of Baton Rouge; and his siblings, Mary Lou Hanchett (Bessie Rosamore), Loria Woods (Everette) of Mesa, Ariz, Gloria King of Jonesboro, Norma Cotton (Melvin) of Orange, Calif., Linton of Lake Charles and Copper Johnson of Lake Charles. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
