With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Darsey Jr. (Ethel, Louisiana), born in Natchez, Mississippi, who passed away on November 13, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry L. Darsey and Marion Mathis Darsey; his sister Marion "Sister" Austin (Carl); and his niece Pamela Austin. He is survived by: his wife Jessie K. Darsey of Ethel; his sisters, Shirley O'Conner (Johnny) of Baton Rouge and Linda Sparks (Wayne) of Baton Rouge; his children, Mike Darsey (Debbie) of Zachary and Susan Darsey Hodas (Tom) of Ethel; his grandchildren, Corey Freeman (Laura) of Zachary, Krysten Darsey (Jimbo Noland) of Slaughter, Kemp Darsey (Ashley) of Ethel and Sarah Hodas Cobb (Jimbo) of Slaughter; and his great grandchildren, Darby, Ridley Freeman, Makena Wilson, Mason, Jackson Darsey, Paige and Jamie Cobb.
