He is survived by: his wife Kathleen D. Matthews; his children, Teri Rosendale (Roger), Christine L. Hymel, Deanna D. France (Kevin), Clarence Newton Matthews, Jr. and Lucas J. Brashier (Kylie); and his siblings, Frankie Henry, Kenneth Matthews, Jerry Mathews (Mae), Larry Mathews (Betty) and Ronnie Mathews (Mima).
