He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel Lee Dean Dewitt; his parents, Robert Dewitt Sr. and Ida May Trout Dewitt; and his siblings, Edna Perrilloux, Marie Statler, Goldie Gryner, Violet Dewitt, William Dewitt, Robert Dewitt Jr. and Larry Dewitt.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Dunn (Rory), Charles Jr. and Brian; his siblings, Sylvia Atwood and Floyd Paul Dewitt (Iris); his grandchildren, Kayla, Megan (Jon), Amber, Brandon (Sarah), Randall J. (Amber), Cory (Miranda) and Bryce; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Brentley, Ella, Christopher, Emma, Briar, Rylan, Kyler, Steffin, Avery, Easton, Alexis, Abigail and Emory. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
