He was predeceased by: his wife Pat Simon; his parents, Bill "Acey" Simon and Laura Abshire Simon; his siblings, Helen Abshire, Rena Terro, Ella Collins and Rod Simon; and his granddaughter Haley Henry.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Henry (Marcus) of Many, Blaine Koch (Rachel) of Lafayette and Denise Rendon (Tom) of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Trisha Badon (Zachary) of Crowley, Miles Koch of Lafayette, Benjamin Koch of Lafayette, Alex Wolf of San Antonio and Ryan Wolf of San Antonio; his great grandchildren, Payton Badon, Daxton Badon, Delilah Koch and Ava Wolf; and his close friend Iris Smith of Basile.
