He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobson Bello and Edna Blanchard Bello; his brothers, Hobson Bello Jr. and Raymond Bello; and his stepson-in-law Mark Strother.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Lou Stout Bello; his children, Gerald Bello Jr. (Michelle), Stephanie Bello Wade (Mike) and Cathy Matherne (Jerry); his stepdaughters, Dawn Strother and Ginger Denicola (Daryl); his grandchildren, Nick Bello (BreAnn), Chris Wade (Sarah), Courtney Wade Segraves (Michael) and Cameron Matherne; and his stepgrandchildren, Brittany Woolf, Mitch Strother, Amber Gendron, Channen Price and Carson Price. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
