He was predeceased by: his wife Stella LeBlanc Lopez; his parents, Edward Lopez and Amay Savoy Lopez; and his siblings, Dave Lopez and Mildred Lopez Naquin.

He is survived by: his children, Amy Lopez Westbrook (Carl) and Ethan J. Lopez; his stepgrandson Zachary Westbrook; and his brother Maurice Lopez (Lucille).
