We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2023, at the age of 84, Mae Delois Gilmore of Eros, Louisiana, born in Monroe, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, X. L. Leonard and Elsie Speights; and her son Eugene McVay, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband J. T. Gilmore; her children, Jerry McVay (Lisa), P. D. McVay and Don McVay (Betty); her siblings, Penny Warner, Mary Elizabeth Schoonover (Bryan) and Joseph Don Leonard (Brenda); and also Brad Gilmore. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
