He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Duke and Janie Aday; his brother Sammy L. Duke; his parents-in-law, Billy H. Marks and Betty Redding Marks; and his brother-in-law James Jim Rabb.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Duke; his daughter Kathryn Annette Rice Duke; his grandchildren, James Paul Duke, Mark Allen Rice, D. J. Duke and Rob Duke; his great grandchildren, AnnaGrace Cook, Ayden Rice, Tallon Rice and Braylee Rice; his siblings, Lillie Rabb, Betty Mitchell, Joyce Broom (Gene), Stephen Duke (Rachel) and David Duke (Cathy); his siblings-in-law, Kathy Berry, Barbara Marks, Billy H. Marks, II and Junior Berry; and his close friends, Royce Rice and Douglas Valentine. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mulhearn Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
