It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Slavent in Eros, Louisiana, born in Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Slavent and Florene Slavent; his son Justin Slavent; and his brothers, Nick Slavent Jr. and Dalton Jordan.

He is survived by: his wife Tammy Slavent; his children, Kimberly Laskey, Christon Slavent and Damian Slavent; his grandsons, Justin Slavent, Jr. and Jacob Slavent; his siblings, Vicky Ann Honeycutt, Toni Atchley (Keith), Jennifer Brooks, Mark Slavent and Bobby Slavent; and his mother-in-law Carol Crawford. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request all donations be made to Kilpatrick Funeral Home to help offset expenses.
