He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheldon Thibodeaux and Lula Mae Toups. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Richard Thibodeaux of Erath; his daughter Lezlie Thibodeaux of Erath; his stepson Chris Bertrand (Carly) of Texas; his grandchildren, C. J. Bertrand and Caroline Bertrand; and his brothers, Allen Thibodeaux (Rosie), Darrell Toups (Valerie) and Doyle Toups (Sonya).
