She is survived by: her close friend Alvin Trahan of Erath; her daughters, Jessica Labit (Brady) of Youngsville and Michelle Lachney (Rick) of Lafayette; her siblings, Paul Rodriguez, Greg Cortez, Ernest Cortez, Dora Sanchez (Alex), Gloria Cortez Akers (Joe) and Nellie Cortez Arispe; and her grandchildren, Kirsten Dufrene, Alaina Dufrene, Sierra Romero and Madison Barras. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
