With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Allen Dozier of Erath, Louisiana, born in Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on April 18, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Velta LeBlanc Dozier of Erath; his children, Alex Paul Theriot, Allen Paul LaSalle, Jr., Elizabeth Anne Gaspard, Michelle Dias and Eva Ella Marie LaSalle; and his siblings, Tommy Dozier and Carolyn Cook. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
