She was predeceased by: her husband Jules Richard, Jr.; her parents, Lawless Theriot and Lelia Babineaux Theriot; and her brother Oris Theriot. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Richard (Melissa) of Erath, Katherine Morton (Patrick) of Erath and Carla Quebedeaux (Jack) of Arnaudville; her brother Michael Theriot of Erath; and her grandchildren, Cory Richard, Jude Richard, Brock Richard, Alison Veazey, Ashley Segura, Jenna Segura and Jordan Durrow. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
