He was predeceased by: his wife Setsuko Ii Duplantis; his parents, Galbert Duplantis and Loria Duplantis; his siblings, Junius Duplantis and Gloria Benoit; and his niece Roxanne Morvant.
He is survived by: his son Ricky Duplantis of Erath; his grandson Ricky Duplantis, Jr.; his brother-in-law Alvin Benoit; his nephew Ryan Benoit; his great-nephew Mathew Morvant; and his great-niece Miranda Morvant.
