He was predeceased by: his parents, John Powell and Alice Powell; his wife Dorothy Marie Scott Powell; his grandchildren, Michael Scott Powell and Carmen Lynn Trawick; and his siblings, Malissa Butts (Ed), Johnnie Theobald (Roger), Ann Erickson (Gail) and Joe Powell (Reba).
He is survived by: his children, Nina Trawick (Melvin), Ronnie Powell (Sandra) and Tommy Powell (Bertha); and his grandchildren, Stacy Doyle (Jason), Bridgett Fuller (Robert), Ryan Powell (Stephanie), Cathy Leviton (Lauren), Eric Trawick (Sara), Trent Powell (Beth) and Neil Trawick (Margaret). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, 6 great, great grandchildren and numerous relatives, nieces and nephews.
