She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry C. Guice and Willie Mae Roberson Guice; her husband Joseph H. Sims; and her brothers, John, Donnie and Danny Guice.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Wayne Sims (Rebecca), Lisa Sims Hibbard (Jack), Dana Sims Gwin, Teresa Simms Philley (Timothy) and Adrian Shane Sims; and her sisters, Jeanette Guice LaCour and Evelyn Guice Sandidge. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Homes - Delhi Chapel (724 Broadway St, Delhi, LA 71232).
