She is survived by: her husband Thomas "Tommy" Simpkins of Epps, LA; her brothers, Kindle McCandlish (Jane) of Epps, LA and Glen McCandlish (Suzanne) of Epps; and her sister-in-law Charlie (Marilyn Simpkins). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law.
