He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Nielsen Sr. and Sarah Nielsen; his wife Carol Ann Nielsen; and his siblings, Alice Carroll, Jesse Nielsen Jr. and Dewanna Chestnut.
He is survived by: his sons, Jessie Wayne Nielsen (Gina) and Jonathan Rush Nielsen (Vicki); his sisters, Kathy Phillips, Callie Nielsen and Barbara Walters; his grandchildren, Joshua Nielsen (Callie), Lynda Carol Nielsen and Jordan Michele; his stepgrandchildren, Brian Guice (Jennifer), Billy Guice (Shonia) and Becky Sumrall (Adam); and his great grandchild Joshua Trevor Nielsen. He is also survived by numerous sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
