She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Purvis Wellington Simms; her children, Kenneth Wayne Simms (Lillian) of Mound, LA and Jo Ann Simms (Joe Gilmore) of Ruston, LA; her grandchildren, Robert Simms (Beth) of Vicksburg, MS, Cheryl (Bob Dexter) of Tupelo, MS, Jake Gilmore (Callie) of Ruston, LA and Jessica (Larance Mobley) of Ruston, LA; and her grandmother Sierra. She was also cherished by ten great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
