He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hardy Neathery and Omie Dickson Neathery; his son Kenneth Earl Neathery; his wife Shirley May Neathery; and his siblings, Billy, Roy, Archie Neathery and Barbara Sue McClendon.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Newton (Joey) of Delhi, LA, Pam McVay and Tommy of Crowville; and his brothers, James Neathery (Carol) of Beekman, LA and Jerry Neathery (Teresa) of Crosset, AR. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Homes - Delhi Chapel (724 Broadway St, Delhi, LA 71232).
