With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Thomas Hale Sr. (Epps, Louisiana), who passed away on February 9, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Howard Hale and Allie Irene McCandlish Hale; his son Billy Hale Jr.; and his siblings, Quincy, Dewitt, Elcie, Louis, Eugene, Conley Hale, Euther Stanfield, Elizabeth Harris, Lessie Ezell and Allie Vancleave.

He is survived by: his wife Susie Dosher Hale (Red); and his children, Pamela McMurry (Paul) of Crowville, LA, Rebecca Spain (Chuck) of Charlotte, NC, Teresa Blackwell (Gary), Thomas Blackwell of Gonzales, LA and Ginger Taylor (John) of Sterlington, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other close relatives.

Any planned memorials may be made to Walnut Grove Baptist Church-Epps, St. Jude Children's Hospital or to theShriner's Children Hospital.
