He was predeceased by: his wife Blazenka; his parents, Jozo Popich and Ane Popich; and his siblings, Dinko and Marija.

He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ann and Helen; his son-in-law Roger; and his pet Hailey. He is also survived by nephews; and many friends.
