With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zeline Sylestine of Elton, Louisiana, who passed away on March 27, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Le'Roy Sylestine; her daughter Christine McGirt; and her parents, Jackson Langley and Maggie Langley. She is survived by: her daughter Deretha Thompson of Kinder; and her grandchildren, Leland Thompson, Raynella Fontenot, Weldon Thompson, Raeann Easley, Seth Sylestine and Alisia Sylestine. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
