With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verlion Deshotel of Elton, Louisiana, who passed away on April 7, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Mollie Deshotel; and his stepson Andrew Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Deshotel of Elton; his son Bryan Deshotel of Elizabeth; and his stepchildren, Matthew Jacobs (Sheila) of Kinder, Tony Jacobs (Victor) of Puyallup, Phillip Jacobs of Noble, Cynthia Wakeley (Kent) of Natchitoches and Stefanie Jacobs of Elton. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
