He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Woods Sr. and Rose Jack-Woods; his wife Malene LeDay Woods; his daughters, Elizabeth Woods and Nita Wilson; his siblings, Robert Woods, LeRoy Woods, Earl Woods, Jr., Ida Mae Babineaux and Geraldine Moreaux; and his grandson Eric James Lavan.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Woods (Sherry) of Elton, LA, Ruthia Simon (Stanley) of Elton, Janett Delaphous (Michael) of Elton, Carolina Woods Lavan of Elton and Sheryl Woods of Elton; his siblings, Leonard Woods of Elton, Laura Thierry of Lake Charles, Lovenia Comeaux (Fred) of Lake Charles, Wilda Ceasar of Lake Charles and Georgiana Simon of Elton; his goddaughter Annie Belle Guillory; and his close friend Chona Hissner (Jonathan).
