She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil Battise; her children, Dolores Battise and Linus Battise; her parents, Mike, Sr. Thompson and Elan Jane Thompson; her siblings, Clara Castillo, Kenneth Thompson, Mike Thompson, Jr. and Alseade Thompson; and her granddaughter Charlene Messer.
She is survived by: her daughter Trish Langley (Elton); and her granddaughters, Rebecca Bordelon (Eunice), Michele Newman (Houston), Jalynn Cotton (Oberlin), Aletha Istre (Wilber) and Monica Robinson (Elton). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; 2 great great granddaughters; many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
