He is survived by: his wife Lana; his children, Rene Pinnix (Harley), Paul Ruybal (Christin) and Christian Darden (Heather); his grandchildren, Jayden, Jarrett, Harley Paige, Landon, Braxton, Presleigh, Jayden B., Jaxson and Jacelyn; and his siblings, Marty Ruybal, Toni Johnson (Don) and Michael Ruybal (Celia). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hill Crest Memorial Chapel (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
