It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rayford Droddy of Elizabeth, Louisiana, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son James Ray Droddy; his grandchildren, Cory McHenry, Terry Wayne Droddy and Breanne Sonnier; and his siblings, LeRoy Droddy, Claude Droddy, Myrtle Perkins and Bertie Mae Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Lee Droddy (Willis) of Elizabeth; his children, Jerry Wayne Droddy of Pitkin, Gaynelwyn Sonnier of Mittie and Melvina Williams (Lofton) of Little Rock, Arkansas; and his sister Bernice Skaggs of Hemphill, Texas. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
