With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Liz Owen (Elizabeth, Louisiana), born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on April 19, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Clayton Owen, Jr; her son Michael Colmer Owen; her parents, Marvin Leonal Colmer and Pauline Kelly Colmer; and her brother Marvin Leonal "Buddy" Colmer, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Hubert "Hubie" Clayton Owen, III, Paul Rhea Owen (Deborah) of Zachary and Karan Elizabeth Owen of Allen; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Rhea Owen of Baton Rouge and Catherine Ann Owen (Chris Saucier) of Slidell; her sister Eloise Colmer Lout of Metairie; and her friend Jeannine Tate. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
