He was predeceased by: his parents, Otho Smith and Maybell Vercher Smith; his daughter Allison Ann Smith; and his brother Clinton Smith. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Ponthieux Smith of Effie, LA; his daughters, Sharon Dauzat of Effie, LA. and Joan Ebey (Keenan) of Centerpoint, LA.; his brother Bobby Smith of Effie; and his grandchildren, Regina Dauzat, Hannah Dauzat and Hunter Ebey.
