It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Nell Hayes (Effie, Louisiana), who passed away on October 26, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edith Nell Hayes to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Hayes, Jr.; her parents, Jim Woodson and Lillie Woodson; her sister Jean Voorhies; and her grandson Matthew Migues.

She is survived by: her children, Girl Scout, Debra Migues (Mike), Denise Crain (Bruce) and Kenneth Hayes; her grandchildren, Amanda Migues Jackson (Wallace), Jeremy Richerson (Laura) and Joshua Richerson (Cori); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Wallace V, Josiah, Andrew, Elisha, Grace Jackson, Levi, Madden and Case Richerson; and her niece Beth Lester (Greg).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Grove/French Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 113, Effie, La., 71331.
